About Steve (Written by Wendy)
Steve is a wonderful husband and my best friend. We met when we took a college class together. What I remember most about him from that day was how much he made me laugh. He joked about how he would much rather take me out to dinner than sit through a lecture. Steve has a great sense of humor and is so much fun to be around. Steve loves to read science fiction and mysteries. He likes to play golf and basketball. Steve is a really good cook, too. Our family loves when he makes his special recipes for jambalaya, chicken stir-fry, and pumpkin cupcakes. He is kind, caring, and generous. I am looking forward to seeing Steve hold our child in his arms. I know Steve will be a great father who will be there to listen to his child and help him/her grow each step of the way. Steve is really excited about becoming a dad!

About Wendy (Written by Steve)
Wendy is simply the best person I know. Wendy is my wife, best friend, and perfect match. I love to make her laugh so hard that she literally snorts with laughter. She is always a bit embarrassed when this happens, and I find that very cute. Wendy works with children, and they love to be around her. She is an artist and a teacher. Her kindness and warmth are qualities you can see when she is with her students and with the young children in our circle of family and friends. Wendy will be a great mom. She is patient and understanding. I look forward to the joys of first steps and first words, in part, because I can imagine her joy. She loves to paint, ice skate, and read.
